Heya Everyone,
I'm new to the forum (first post), and just started last week on a Confidence Power Plus treadmill. I've searched the forums for this question, but wanted to double-check since some of the answers left me wondering.
I'm a little concerned about the motor's performance.
1) The difference in speed from how fast the band moves before/after I step on it is about a 50% drop. I've never used a treadmill before, is that normal? (I weigh about 175lbs).

I've posted two albums that I hope give a good idea of how I built an attractive and comfortable walking desk for about $800.00.
The prototype, and the (mostly) finished product.
I would love it if these posts help somebody else!

I've been using the Treadmill desk now for about a week. I'm up to about 50-60 minutes per day, the remainder sitting (or uncomfortably) standing.
As for speed, usually quite slow - around 0.6-1mph/1-1.6kph.
