"n2002, +1 I like me proform For me, the eliptical as a suplement to all those things is helpful. The eliptical is easier and it lets me read while on it. 45 minutes on an eliptical with…"

stream26 replied to Ray Johnson's discussion Is buying any used treadmill ok for the job?
"The price is high in my opinion.  I think it should be priced around $350.  In terms of wear and condition, the things I would look for is wear on the deck which could include rough spots or ridges, wear in the nylon back side of the belt,…"

TreadDesk Update - Tread dead after 2 years

My Treaddesk Tread started making loud buzzing noises last September just a month outside of the 2-year warranty expired.

I contacted Treadesk who thought it was probably the capacitor on the controller board, I could replace the board for $100 including shipping. I opted to replace the capacitor myself, as that could be sourced for $15.

NYC tread desk users?

After a close comparison, I decided to go with the TreadDesk, mainly due to the price. We have since purchased 4 more for our offices and I then had to have one at my home as well. To say that they have improved the health of those that use them would be quite the understatement. Not only has everyone that uses them lost weight, they…

Office walker walking towards health

2 years now. 1,820 miles in my office. The tread is still good. I put a calendar reminder once per month to vacuum around and under the hood. I lubricate the tread belt from time to time.

My body weight has been very stable (some fluctuation). My vacation was spent hiking in England 60-70 miles…
