Treadmill

Hi,
Does anyone know of a good model treadmill that is electric with a 3hp motor or larger that could be modified to have the display panel mounted to the desk, or the side of the desk?

Just about any of them can be so modified Allen. I've got a commercial quality precor reconfigured for what I needed - If you look on my pics - I relocated the controls to set right on top of the tread - but could have put them anywhere.

Thanks for the info Scott, Love what you have done. Can you tell me how is your sound with it. That is a concern that I also have since I do not want to upset the other offices next to me with to much noise.

It's not exactly what you were asking, but the tread I'm using came with a display panel on a cable you can mount anywhere and a low profile deck that goes under my desk. It's a TreadDesk.

I talked with Tread Desk and they do not sell the treadmill without the desk. If they did I would jump all over it. I would have bought their desk, but my boss would not cover that. Unless you or someone else knows what I should do to convince my employer (University of Wisconsin, Medical School) to get me a treadmill, all of the cost comes out of my pocket and I am no doctor (just a lowly paid computer support person)....
