"Oh wow. Nothing beats an electric adjustable desktop. I didn't know that you could just get the frame from Geekdesk. Thanks for sharing. This will be my ultimate goal. Very nice."

"Rick , I dont think it was the weight she was concerned about , but  raising the center of gravity too high above the frame. that's when I started thing about raising it from underneath. It would definitely be much simpler to just raise…"

"I don't think weight is an issue.  A few pieces of scrap would only be about 5 to 10 lbs at the most.  The Geekdesk v2 is rated at 275lbs.  The Geekdesk max can lift 335lbs.  "

"Rick , Does that mean that you will be putting the chair directly on the treadmill ? I wonder if the feet of the chair could damage the tread ? A while back I asked a Geekdesk phone rep about putting wood underneath the desktop to raise the height…"

"I haven't laid out the plans yet, but I'm planing to use 2x4 lumber to make the raise floor frame.  This will have 1/2 or 3/4 inch plywood laid over it with the flooring on top of that.  The 2x4s may have to be ripped so the…"

"Rick , I'm very curious on how you plan to do  the raised floor. I am ordering a Geekdesk V2  tomorrow. I'm 6'2" and don't think the desk will be tall enough for me. Thinking about using some 3 " Rolling…"

"did you ever get your control unit moved?  I am having the same issue.  I just bought a used Jerker and my Tmill will require the console to be moved as well."
