"I bought this blue foam insulation at Lowes -- taped it to the handle bars -- and stuck a piece of wood on top of that-- took like 5 minutes.  The foam can be stacked or cut to the exact height you'd like.  The foam insulation cost me…"

"The first suggestion I offer is that you build a new wiring harness.  It isn't that hard because most of these harnesses use standardized connectors.  This will let you position the control unit wherever you want.  At that point…"

"afaik are consoles made out of two plastic parts, like at your tread the black one is like the lower casing part for the electronic parts and the white part covers it and shows the "buttons" you might have an easier time removing the black…"

I'm planning on joining a geek desk + Merit 725T treadmill (without using the arms of the treadmill).  I'd like an aesthetically pleasing set up -- has anyone had success mounting the console to the underside of the desk top?  versus lying it on the floor?I assume people use an old keyboard tray?  I dont step much in to HD or Lowes-- any other ideas? Thanks!See More
