This thread was a big help in making my choice of treadmill desks. I've gone with the Tread Desk tread. I already have a standing desk I've cobbled together out of a two-level Anthro cart. I'll post some pictures when my tread gets here.

I don't see how you could put a keyboard underneath the desk on a tray, when that space is being taken up by the controls. And I'm a small woman, yet 16" is far too narrow. I'm a very experienced treadmill user and know of which I speak--one false...

Huh, it looks to me like the controls slide in and out? So they get out of the way, and the desk space looks plenty big...I have a DIY treadmill desk, and I don't have as big a desk space and have to have the keyboard on it as it is. This is way m...

I just found this page: http://www.drpribut.com/sports/walkingshoe_fit.html where he says 6 to 9 months for walking shoes. He isn't expecting 10 miles a day of walking, though. But then again we are walking slowly, which reduces the impact on the ...

I've been using a Treaddesk for over a year now. I also had some soreness in my feet and lower legs for the first month, but after getting a new pair of Nike's, and giving it a little time, I have gradually worked up to 5-6 miles each day. My leg ...

They advertise it as being like a whisper - whatever that means, but I find it perfectly acceptable and would call it "white noise". I got used to it by the end of the first day and no one has ever said they could hear it when I am on the phone, which was my biggest concern. I would say it is more on the quiet side when compared to other treadmills I have been on, and actually I think my feet make more noise than the treadmill itself.

Hi!

The treadmill desk is exactly what you're looking for. Give it a shot and let us know how it goes!
