6 months on... and weight loss
2 Replies

I'm still walkin' 6 months on, this is no gimmick. The trusty old treadmill I got from ebay for $70 has not had a rest, 6-7 days a week, averaging about 10-11 mile a day. Weight started dropping off…Continue

Treaddesk owners - do you find the deck too short?

My deck is 10" longer than the treaddesks and I'm thinking of knocking 10-12" off it so that it doesn't occupy some much space and isn't so heavy.Anyone here with a treaddesk that wishes it was a bit…Continue

6 months on... and weight loss

I'm still walkin' 6 months on, this is no gimmick. The trusty old treadmill I got from ebay for $70 has not had a rest, 6-7 days a week, averaging about 10-11 mile a day. Weight started dropping off too quickly at first but I just felt more comfortable walking that sitting so I decided to eat more rather than walk less. Then I thought maybe I can get away with some treasured bad foods, including my favorite, arm buns' (big finger buns). But nope, not even 10 mile a day can cater for bad eating.…See More

Anyone get shoulder pain?

Feet and legs are fine but after about a 4 hour continuous stint I'm finding my shoulders are dead. In fact the pain makes me stop and do something else for an hour or two.I'm thinking it's from the slight yet continual pressure I exert on the keyboard pad for stabilization when typing. It's quite possibly just muscle fatigue but maybe I'm wrong?   See More

"Sounds good, thanks for the feedback. The Treaddesk specs say the belt is 48" long. I assume that's pretty much the length you have to walk on, or does it go into the motor compartment quite a bit?"

Software engineer, the type that can remain glued to the screen motionless apart for finger movement for hours on end.

Been through many chairs, but back pain is only getting worse. But even worse than back pain is this pain I get in my buttocks, like they're being squashed for long periods. It kills when I stand up and my buttocks decompress. Maybe I'm cutting off nerve?

Welcome!

I'd suggest you talk about the back pain with a Dr. I've recently had physical therapy for back pain and have gotten more lasting relief than from a lot of chiropractic care.
