The New York Times has an article about a Minnesota school that uses standing desks in classrooms.
Dr. Levine has a couple of quotes, but it's mostly about how the kids have adapted to standing. They also have stools they can sit on, but they aren't seats.

Hey everyone, I know there has been some concern over the cost of the steelcase product, but there is a new option from Signature Treadmill Desks. The desk is awesome looking, and it come complete so that you don't have to purchase the Arm Mount, and the monitor and your wireless accessories. Everything is included in their price of $2365. You gotta check this one out. www.treadmilldeskinc.com

I created a new walking competition this morning, starting tomorrow (2/27) from Acapulco to Key West on MSN Route Tracker.
We need someplace warm!
Please join me in a nice long walk.
If you can't find the event, send me your email address and I'll send you an invitation. I don't see a way to send out a link directly to the event.

Has anyone tried or bought an electronically controlled height adjustable desk?
I am trying to figure out if it's worth trying to save money by adding an already made stand-up height-adjustable-ergonomically-electronically controlled desk to a medium or high-end home treadmill instead of purchasing an already complete treadmill desks like Steelcase
for our office (which is for several different users taking turns).
