I've lost a few pounds and I'm averaging about 240 minutes a day and trying to increase from that.
Finding out that a sweat a lot, so more showers are happening if I have a lunch meeting or afterwork event.
On my weight watchers, I'm using the "walking leisure" activity point count So far I've accumilated about 39 extra points. I'm trying not to use those extra points in eating.
I'm down to 252 from 269. It's a combination of eating healthier and less and the… Continue

Have any of you used / had experience with the WalkNWork desk?

So, we set up everything. I'm pretty happy.
We tried to fit the desk in a way that still allowed the treadmill to be set up with the arms, but the desk was too big. So we hung the control panel on the wall and removed the arms which gives me plenty of room to walk.

So...the Department Chair must just never have imagined how much I would change my office when he gave the go ahead and when he happened to drop by and see the treadmill desk, he flipped. And I mean flipped...he didn't even wait to talk to me about it (I was in class at the time)...He went downstairs to the shop room and boomed at the maintenance guys to "get rid of that thing right now!" After returning a broken treadmill via Amazon.com, my treadmill desk is up and running.
Took some fooling around with, but now it works and the Frederick desk from Ikea fits right where it should be. No balancing on handles.

As previously requested by bdrhoa, here is a report (in two parts) on how it all turned out for me and the treadmill desk...
Last summer (2008) I was so excited about the idea of working and exercising at the same time that I asked my direct supervisor about it and told him all of my plans (literally, I'd drawn a floorplan to scale) for implementing a treadmill desk setup in my office and he said it sounded great/exciting and he couldn't wait to see it...I also asked the Dept… Continue

I bought a IKEA Fredrick desk, the smaller version to act as my treadmill desk.
I am waiting for the Horizon T91 to come on Thursday from Amazon. No tax and free shipping. I did buy a 3 year extended warranty because I'm going to be using it alot. I looked at this Treadmill in Sherman Oaks at Play It Again Sports, but didn't buy from them even though their extended warranty would have been five years for the same price..
My roommate is going to help me install the… Continue
