I am maintaining a blog via WordPress (http://workingyourbuttoff.wordpress.com/) for my daily updates.  I am also planning on posting my set-up for everyone to see.

I am certainly open to advice, tips, tricks, lessons-learned that anyone would like to share.

Real quick overview of configuration:  electric height-adjustable desk, Horizon 2.1T (modified), and HumanTouch keyboard tray is coming soon.  I have the tray, just waiting on the track.

For all the ladies out there...I did all the modifications of the treadmill myself.  A woman with a pair of vise grips and a dremel is practically unstoppable!

GJ on your blog.

Looking forward to day 5, sounds like the human body adapts pretty fast, back into its "natural environment" be it roaming the savannas or an office with a treadmill.

Way to go, Jill. If you want occasional respite from the treadmill, you might consider a kneeling stool. Using one of these stools, your thighs will not be at right angles to your spine, which puts more pressure on the spine, but something more like 120-130 degrees. I've been enjoying mine for about 4 years now.

I'm new to treadmill use, myself... it's been 3 days. And like you, I overdid the first day because I had a big project on the go, and loved the blood flow I was achieving. But Ow... the right shin! Perhaps I should have worn running shoes, not the Birkenstocks. Easing back into it will be the way to go.
