Walking at your desk article

Thought I'd share with you all an article in our local paper about me and my treaddesk at the office. I mentioned this website but the reporter got it wrong and said officewalkers.com instead of officewalkers.ning.com. This group was instrumental in my decision making to start walking at the office. Thanks to you all for the info you provide to us who contemplate doing this crazy but really smart thing.

That is a great article! I love me Trekdesk & enjoy walking or standing all day at it... My boss is still convinced I need a standard sit-down desk too - but I am out to prove him wrong! :)

Are you only standing at the desk, or is it one of the adjustable-height desks that allow you to sometimes sit? If the latter, are you using TreadDesk's laminate-flooring solution to bring the surrounding floor up to the height of the treadmill?

The desk is adjustable but I never sit. And no, do not have the laminate-flooring.
